Each year, SafeHaven of Tarrant County relies on community friends to help bring the holidays to the women and children living in the shelter.  People can purchase items such as boy and girl toys, women’s clothing or they can make monetary donations (cash or checks made out to SafeHaven).

The items go toward their Santa Sack program.  They set up a little store stocked with the donations and the residents and their children go in and pick out gifts for each of their family members.  The items are then wrapped and are ready for Christmas.

We are collecting through Wednesday, December 16 (last minute donations will be accepted through the 17th) and we are delivering the items on Friday, December 18th.
