Recently, SHPE at LM Aero – Fort Worth hosted Science Night (Noche de Ciencias) at Trimble Technical High School on October 15th. Our participate grew by 27% to a total of 49 students,12 parents and 24 volunteers. Students participated in a variety of activities and workshops including College 101, Engineering Wind and Engineering Speed Mentoring. Parents workshops were provided in Spanish which included Helping your child in their journey to college and Paying for college. These events promoted college awareness for both students and teachers. The event had a great turnout and the organization received positive feedback from both parents and student.
